Labrador Travel Subsidy

YCNL and our Provincial Government continues to recognize the exorbitant travel cost of travel for Labrador youth. In light of this, the Provincial Government’s 2009 Budget, has again implemented a travel subsidy, “to offset travel cost for Labrador youth attending YC Newfoundland and Labrador.”

The Labrador Travel Subsidy Program, introduced in 1968, has helped reduce the disparity in travel costs for Labrador region groups. YC Newfoundland and Labrador has become a significant event in our province and are pleased to partner with the Government of Newfoundland & Labrador for YC2009.

The YC2009 Travel Subsidy Program is designed to allow church youth groups from Labrador to travel to the island portion of the province. YC Newfoundland and Labrador will make every effort to ensure a fair and equitable distribution of funds.
