How to Register a Group

  1. Review the YC2009 Leaders Guide.

  2. Complete and submit a Group Registration Form with payment.

  3. Present your registration confirmation list at the start of YC2009.

Guidelines & Policies:

  • Registrations will only be accepted via registered mail or delivered in-person to the YC Office. NO FAXES ACCEPTED.

  • Registrations will not be processed without complete payment which is accompanied by the proper forms.

  • All attendees must be registered with a group. No individual registration forms will be accepted. If your church does not have a youth program, then you are responsible to find another group with whom you can register.

  • All persons attending YC are required to register (i.e. bus drivers, volunteers, pastors, leaders).

  • Confirmation of registered delegates will be sent to the group contact. This list should be presented on registration day.

  • Group contact MUST attend YC.

  • Mail or deliver only one cheque per deadline (payable to “YC Newfoundland”) with forms.

  • Registration deadlines must be met in order to receive respective rates. Failure to do so will result in an additional $10 per applicant. NO EXCEPTIONS!

  • A $5 fee will be issued for broken wristbands. Delegates must provide broken wristband and photo ID.

  • A $140 charge will be issued for lost wristbands.

  • A $15 fee will be charged to transfer registration from one individual to another.

Chaperones

  • Each group should bring AT LEAST one female chaperone for every 7 girls and one male chaperone for every 7 guys. It is the responsibility of each local group to provide adequate supervision.

  • Chaperones must be at least 19 years old.

  • Leaders and chaperones are responsible for the behaviour of their youth and should know where they are at all times. Groups should sit together if possible and chaperones should sit with their youth when dispersed through the crowd.

  • It is vital during any ministry time that YOUR leaders minister to YOUR youth. Also, let us collectively do our best to embrace Biblical patterns of worship, prayer and seeking the Lord.
